McCARTHY Siobhan (Jo) - who died on November 20, 2009 is remembered with great affection and love on the first anniversary of her death in her 99th year, by Eithne, Neasa, Colm and Dearbhal; grandchildren Fiona, Sorcha, Isabel and Barbara and great-granddaughter Jane. We wish to thank all of her friends, our colleagues and friends for their support and kindness on her passing. We especially thank the staff of TLC for their loving care for her in her final years. A special thank you to Maura Higgins, her companion for many years; to Florrie and Tom Waller, her neighbours who watched over her daily life for many years and all her neighbours in Clontarf. A special thank you to Fr. Tom Noone and the parish of Marino for their consolation to us and for the sensitive and lovely funeral Mass. A special thank you to Deirdre Cooling Nolan for her beautiful singing at her Mass and to Jennings Undertakers for their assistance. We are deeply grateful to Fr. Lawless of St. Aidans, Enniscorthy, for officiating at the graveside and to Mr Tom Browne, undertaker. For all your flowers, phone calls and Mass cards we are especially grateful. The organist's rendition of Sliabh na mBan was so special for us. Mum's selected poem, 'Crossing the Bar', was beautifully read by her grand niece, Karen. We hope you will accept this acknowledgement from us as a tribute to her. A donation in your name has been made to the Irish Heart Foundation.
