MURRAY Joe (journalist and broadcaster, late Head of Farming Programmes, RTÉ) May 4, 2011. On the First Anniversary of his death, Joe is lovingly remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. His wife Margaret (Toni), daughters Isobel and Susan and their families, his brothers and sister would like to thank his dear friends and former colleagues, his health care professionals, kind neighbours and good-humoured golf companions for their great kindness to Joe and our family during his illness and after his death. Our gratitude also goes to Father Dermod McCarthy, RTÉ, and Fr. Ciarán Houlihan of Foxrock Parish, to the Guild of Agricultural Journalists and a wide circle of friends from both his professional and private lives who travelled long distances to attend his funeral and to all who sent Mass cards, letters and donations to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. Joe was a decent and honest man.
