A servant of God

It was with great sadness that I heard of Fr. Colm's passing. I studied with Colm in St. John's Seminary in Waterford. I have never met a happier self-fulfilled Priest. He had a great listening ear, loving, kind and a great sense of humor. His eagerness to serve God and others was amazing. He always had other people’s interests at heart. He was a great friend, colleague and still will be in a more real way. He was a great inspiration to me and continues to be. He sought out to know, love and imitate Christ. He was holy and gave himself in total service of others. He is a Saint. He has got his reward and is happy and at peace.

My sympathy goes out to his family and friends.

Stephen Andrews
