GRAY, Fred (late of Monkstown, Co. Dublin) - Anne, Bob, Penny and Fred Jones would like to thank all those who have supported us during these difficult and sad days following Fred's death. Sincere thanks to those who helped to arrange and who participated in the reception Service in Christ Church, Dun Laoghaire and the funeral Service in Monamolin; especially to the Rt. Rev. Michael Burrows, Canon Victor Stacey and the Rev. Kevin Dalton. Fred would have enjoyed the uplifting music and singing at both Services. Many thanks to Brian Carnegie of Carnegie Funeral Directors; and also especially to Victor Horan, who worked quietly in the background to ensure that all went smoothly at both Services. Thanks also to the ladies of Bob's parishes who provided a magnificent tea after the burial. We will never forget the large crowds that came to both Services and the kindness of so many; all the letters, cards and Mass Cards. We were greatly touched by the tributes we received from the staff of the Church of Ireland Theological College, Christ Church Cathedral, U.C.D. and many of Fred's former business colleagues from Sun Alliance and the wider security industry; from the Rt. Rev. Donald Caird, Harold Wann, Jim Slater and Noel Gunning who came over from England and from so many other friends. Special thanks to George Stroughair and Tony Wood for all their practical support. We also thank all those who provided the lovely floral tributes and those who gave donations to the Bishops' Appeal in memory of Fred. To all those who have helped us in any way at this time, please be assured that your support and kindness have been very much appreciated.
