BRENNAN, John, Ardee, formerly Collon and Glasnevin (died July 23, 2009) - John's sons and daughters Frank, Clifford, Mara, Orna, Aifric and John, son-in-law Shéamus, daughters-in-law Elaine and Mary, sister Maria, uncle Pat, special friend Deirdre and all our families would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised with us and supported us in our great sadness and loss. Many thanks to those who visited the house, attended the removal, the funeral Mass and burial. Thank you for all the perpetual enrolments, Mass and sympathy cards, letters, visits, flowers, donations and acts of kindness. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who cared for Dad in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda. To all the staff on 1st Floor West, the Oncology Unit and Louth Palliative Community Care Team, particularly Maeve Hennessy for her humour and kind spirit. We feel blessed to have had Dr von Hornstein and his wonderful team look after Dad and will forever be indebted to them for their relentless compassion and understanding. A special thank you is extended to the Very Rev Michael Murtagh and the Rev Peter Murphy. To Peadar Farrelly Funeral Director for his professionalism and kindness; Ruth Kelly and Paddy Neary for their beautiful music. Our wonderful relatives, friends and neighbours whose help, support and kindness carried us through our difficult time. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all with our sincere appreciation and gratitude. As a token of our appreciation the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. Dad's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday August 23 in Collon Church at 11 a.m.
