SCANLON (née Carr) (Galway Road, Roscommon) - October 13, 2005, (peacefully) in the devoted and loving care of the staff of Oakwood Nursing Home, Roscommon and Dr Sharkey, Nonie (Nora), in her 102nd year, wife of the late Pat and loving aunt of Margaret Gibbons, Matthew, Martin, John and Pat Carr. Sadly missed by her grandnephews, grandnieces, special friend Maureen, neighbours and friends. We will always remember her generous smile and fun loving nature. Reposing at Smyth's Funeral Home, Roscommon today (Friday) from 5 o'clock followed by removal at 6.30 o'clock to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Saturday) at 11.30 o'clock Burial afterwards in St Coman's Cemetery.May her gentle soul rest in peace.
