GIBBONS (Keadue, Boyle, Co. Roscommon) - November 14, 2007 (peacefully), in the loving care of Ann Watters and staff at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford, Dr. Hugh (former T.D.), beloved husband of the late Josephine; sadly missed by his loving sons Dr Brian (Wales), Luke (Notre Dame, Indiana), Conal (Drumshambo), Hugh (Dublin), daughters JoAnn (Rutgers, New Jersey), Berna (Keadue), daughters-in-law Catherine, Dolores, Stephanie and Liv, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, sisters Bridget, Betty and Dympna, brother-in-law David, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends in the local community, G.A.A. and politics. Reposing from 5 o'clock at Shivnan's Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon, today (Friday, November 16) with removal at 8 o'clock to arrive at the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Keadue, at 8.30 o'clock Mass of Christian Burial tomorrow (Saturday, November 17) at 12 Noon. Interment immediately afterwards in Kilronan Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Medical Research, N.U.I (Galway) c/o Shivnan Funeral Directors, Ballyfarnon.
