O'CONNOR (Dr Raymond Joseph) (Professor of Wildlife Ecology) - September 29, 2005, after an illness borne with great dignity, at home in Greenville, North Carolina, U.S.A. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Deirdre (Magean), son Eoin, sister Geraldine (Wilson), brother John, father-in-law Jim (Magean) (Belfast), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many colleagues and friends around the world. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Bridget's Church, Malone Road, Belfast at 7 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2005. Interment of Raymond's ashes will take place after 10 o'clock Mass in St MaCartan's Church, Loughinisland, Ballynahinch, Co. Down on Tuesday, October 18.Rest in peace.
