MURCHAN (Tom) (Dundrum, Dublin 14 and formerly Moynalty, Co. Meath) - Returned to God February 12th 2005. Tom's wife Kay and children Hélène, Stephen, Mary & Liz, sister Mary, brothers Fr. Michael and Paddy and his extended family wish to thank most sincerely those who sympathised with them in the loss of their beloved husband, father, brother and friend and have supported them through this sad time. A special word of thanks to all the wonderful Medical and Nursing staff in St. Vincent's University Hospital, especially Prof. Walter McNicholas, Dr Annemarie McLoughlin, Dr Praveen Govender, Dr Graham Sutton. Also, Lyndsey, Tricia and Deirdre (nurse specialists) and nurse Fiona O' Keeffe and all the staff on St Agnes', St Theresa's, St Patrick's and St Monica's Ward and the A&E Department. To Dr Paul McCormick and Patricia, Frank and Lawrence, (Mulvey's Pharmacy) Chris and Niall (Air Products Limited) our sincere thanks to you all. Their professionalism, kindness and compassion towards Tom and the family knew no bounds over the past 3 years. Our sincere thanks for Tom's beautiful funeral Mass concelebrated by his brother Fr Michael, Fr Donal O'Doherty (P.P.), Fr Des Doyle, Fr Michael Collins, Fr Terry Toner, Fr Joe McEvoy, Fr Jim Lynch, Fr Foncie Macken and Fr Joe Clavin. At this time we would like to acknowledge all Tom's wonderful and loyal friends who journeyed with him throughout his life. To all our friends, neighbours and colleagues who continue to give us care and friendship. To all those who travelled long distances to attend Toms wake at home and his funeral Mass.
