RAINSFORD, Richard (Dick) - On this, the First anniversary of Richard's death, we, Bernadette, Geraldine, Eimer, Declan and Brian, his sister Joan and niece Patricia, his grandchildren and extended families would like to express our sincere thanks to all his relatives, good friends and neighbours who travelled long and short distances and in such large numbers to his wake, funeral Mass and cremation ceremony. Thanks too for the Mass Cards and lovely letters which we very much appreciate; your donations to the Dialysis Unit of St. Vincent's Hospital are greatly appreciated. A special word of thanks to Fr. Nash CSSp and his community from Blackrock College, and Fr. Conway and Fr. O'Driscoll of Blackrock Parish for concelebrating a lovely mass; Richard's GP, Dr. Marmion; Prof. Watson and his team of nurses and doctors at The Beacon and St. Vincent's Hospitals for their kindness and great care extended to Richard during the last few years of his life; to Brian Carnegie (Undertaker) for carrying out his duties so efficiently.
