McGOWAN (née Tansey) (Killiney and formerly Keadue, Nobber and Navan) - September 8, 2005 (peacefully), at St Michael's Hospital, Dún Laoghaire, Mary, in her 96th year, wife of the late Edward (ex Garda Síochána), dearly loved mother of Séamus, Florence, Miriam (De Cal) and Vera (Finnegan); to the grief of her son, daughters, daughter-in-law Gabrielle, sons-in-law Chris and Dino, grandchildren Karl and Fionnuala, brother Eugene, sister Florence, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
