HICKEY Desmond (Duleek, Co. Meath, First Anniversary today) - Susan, Ian, Paula, Joan, Ian, Donal and Bebhinn would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who supported us with care and understanding at a time of tremendous sadness. We derived great comfort from the phone calls and letters of condolence we received, many of which offered valuable insights into our beloved father (and grandfather). Thank you also to the nurses and physicians at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, who looked after him (and his family) so sensitively during his final days. "Not people die, but worlds die in them". He is sadly missed today and every day.
