TIERNAN, Peter John (Kells Bay, Cahirciveen, Co. Kerry) - September 26, 2011 (peacefully); sadly missed by his beloved wife Ann, his children Eithne, Patrick, Meadhbh and Caitríona, grandchildren Emily, Ben and Anna, sisters Mary, Rena and Anne, his brothers Terry, son-in-law Keith, daughter-in-law Amice. He lived a life dedicated to family, friends, education and fishing. Reposing at his home tomorrow (Thursday) evening from 6 o'clock Funeral Mass on Friday at 11 o'clock in O'Connell's Memorial Church, Cahirciveen followed by burial in Reilig Cill Fhaoláin. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Kerry Hospice Suaimhneas Centre.Carpe diem quam minimum
credula postero.

<p>My school friend</p> <p>Sorry to have missed Peter's last journey, I found out too late. We were pals from school, travelling everyday from Donnybrook to "The Row" in the 46A. My sympathy to Anne and family and Peters sisters Mary, Rene and Anne and brother Ted. I will remember him in my prayers. May he rest in peace. Paddy Walsh</p>
