McCARTHY FORSYTHE (née Smyllie) (Geraldine) - November 28, 2006 (died peacefully), after an illness bravely borne, with dignity and courage, beloved wife of Dan, loving mother of Heather (Hayes) and Shane, adored stepmother of Danielle, Eoin, Conor, Neil and Gerard; sadly missed by her extended family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, twelve grandchildren, her only great-grandchild, her large circle of friends, golfing pals from Djouce Golf Club, "The Thursday Birdies" and the "Geraldine Society". Grateful thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of St Laurence's Ward, and the 4th Floor of St Vincent's Private Hospital. Funeral Service on Friday morning next, December 1, at 11 o'clock in St Matthias Church, Church Road, Killiney, Co. Dublin and afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harolds Cross. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Cancer Research.
