TOBIN (Brian) (Ballinlough, Cork and late of Kinsale) (July 1, 2006) - On his first anniversary Brian's wife Eileen, son Brian and daughter Jane together with his sisters Helen, Rena and Louise, brothers Jim, Michael and Frank wish to extend heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with us on our sad loss. Sincere thanks to Fr. Aidan Vaughan for celebrating Brian's funeral Mass and supporting him during his illness. To Bishop John Buckley, Bishop Bill Murphy, Canon Michael Crowley, Fr. Vincent Hodnett and the many priests who concelebrated the Mass, several of whom travelled long distances. Thanks to Jim Hayes who gave a wonderful oration, to Joan O'Donovan the sacristan and all who made the Mass so memorable. We would like to express our deepest appreciation to all those who attended the removal, funeral Mass and burial, to Blackrock Hurling Club, Brian's G.A.A. friends and The Insurance Institute for the guards of honour, to Brian's Allianz colleagues, members of Cork Constitution, Monkstown Golf Club and Douglas Rotary and to all his friends and neighbours for their wonderful support, to O'Connor's Funeral Home, Temple Hill, to those who sent Mass Cards, enrolment cards, letters of sympathy and floral tributes. A special thanks to Dr. Gordan Mullins, his team and all the nursing staff in St. Bernadette's Ward, Bon Secours Hospital. We thank Dr. Jack Cantillon for his kind attention and care. Particular thanks to Dr. Tony O'Brien, Marymount Hospice and his Homecare nursing team for their visits and comforting advice and also the Public Health nurses. Please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our appreciation. Masses will be offered for the intentions of all.
