DUFFY, Cedar Lodge, Hacketstown, Co. Carlow - 16th September 2009 peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Lukes Hospital Kilkenny following an illness accepted with great patience and humour. John beloved husband of Marie and treasured dad of John, Paula, Robert, Yvonne, Avril (who has gone before him) and Michael. Will also be greatly missed by Ann, Audrey, Maureen and Vincent (Smyth); his much loved grandchildren, brothers Michael and Matt, sisters Noreen and Ann (Osborne), nieces, nephews and his many wonderful friends. Reposing in Halligans Funeral Home, Station Road, Rathvilly, Co. Carlow from 2 o'clock today, removal from there this evening at 6.30 o' clock to St. Brigids Church Hacketstown arriving for 7 o' clock. Funeral after 11 o' clock mass on Friday to Hacketstown Cemetery.Go placidly amid the noise and haste.
