DARBY (née Connolly), Nora (Foxrock), March 29, 2009 - We who are left behind have much to be grateful for. Nora's was a full and energetic life lived with great enthusiasm, kindness and a keen sense of fun. Her husband Chris, children Abby, Greg and Jonathan, son-in-law Padraig, daughter- in-law Sharon and their extended family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support shown to us on our recent sad and sudden loss of a very special lady, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Thank you to all who called to the house, sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy, floral tributes and to those who phoned and texted and eased our path at a difficult time. Your shared memories have been a huge comfort during this difficult time. We offer special thanks to all who travelled long distances to be with us and to the members to Dun Laoghaire Golf Club for their tremendous support, especially Nora's "Fourballs". We are deeply grateful for all you have done and for all you continue to do and we appreciate the time and effort you have taken to let us know we are in your thoughts. Thanks to those who made a donation to the Aids Fund Housing Project. Thanks to Fr. John Bracken, Fr. Paddy McGrath and Fr. Ciaran Holahan who celebrated Nora's funeral Mass and Service. Thanks to Quinn's of Glasthule for their sensitive professionalism and guidance. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered in Nora's home for all your intentions and her Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in the Church Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock at 12.30 o'clock tomorrow Sunday, May 3.
