McLAUGHLIN - Patrick (Paddy). Died December 14, 2004. Millie, Martin, Regina, Eunan and Gerard wish to express our gratitude and appreciation to our extended family, numerous friends, neighbours and Paddy's former colleagues for their kindness and support throughout his illness and at the time of his death. Sincere thanks especially to those who travelled long distances and from overseas to the removal and funeral Mass. Many thanks to the kind people who wrote letters, telephoned, sent Mass cards or floral tributes and to those who sent donations to the hospice. We are indebted to the Garda Commissioner and members of An Garda Síochána who played a significant role in his funeral. We are also indebted to the medical and nursing staff at St Vincent's Hospital, the Hospice Home Care Team, Our Lady's Hospice, Harolds Cross and in particular, Dr Peter O'Sullivan, Paddy's caring and compassionate G.P. Our sincerest gratitude to the hospice chaplains for their pastoral support, to Fr Joe Kennedy C.P., Mount Argus and concelebrants for Paddy's funeral service and to Fanagans Funeral Directors for their sensitive professionalism. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a profoud expression of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.
