McCAWLEY (née Kennedy) Máire (Tashinny, Ballymahon, Co. Longford, who died on January 29, 2008) - On this, the first anniversary of her death, her husband Martin, daughter Niamh and son Ronan would like to take this opportunity to express sincere gratitude to the many people who commiserated with us throughout the last 12 months and in particular at this time last year. We would like to extend our thanks to all those who sent Mass Cards, messages of sympathy and made donations to The Irish Cancer Society. Many thanks also to the caring staff of The Blackrock Clinic, and to all our wonderful friends and neighbours, those who travelled from near and far to support us over the past year. The family would like to thank in particular Fr. Peter Tiernan, Fr. Jimmy Murray and Fr. Barney Maxwell for the beautiful funeral Mass for Máire. We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. An anniversary Mass will be held on Friday January 30, at 7pm in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carrickedmond.
