Clare) - On the first anniversary of Tom's peaceful death at home, Tom's wife Mary, daughters Jenny and Laurie, his brother Jack, sister Celine, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews and nieces wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us in our sad loss. Sincere thanks to those who sent Mass Cards, letters, phone calls and flowers and to all who attended removal and funeral Mass. Sincere thanks to Canon Brendan O'Donoghue, Fr. Tom Ryan and Fr. Arnold Rosney. To Guss and Annette Ahlsved, Padraig Cleary and Pat Mortell for providing the lovely music and to the members of Probus who formed a guard of honour at Tom's funeral. Thank you to Mr Justin Geoghegan and the nurses of Hawthorn ward in St. Vincent's Private Hospital for their wonderful care. Thanks also to the staff of Milford Hospice and the Palliative Care nurses whose home visits provided great reassurance. Sincere thanks to Dr Michael Linnane who was such a support and comfort to Tom. Thank you to the Shannon District Nurse and the Cancer Society night nurses. The support and help we received from relatives, dear friends and neighbours, which helped so much in getting us through this sad time will always be remembered and appreciated. Mass for Tom's anniversary is on August 31, at 11am in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Shannon. Please accept this acknowledgement in lieu of individual expressions of gratitude - the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
