BURKE (William) (Billy) (Claremont, Banagher, Co. Offaly) - Billy's wife Mollie, his sons, daughters and sisters appreciate most sincerely the kindness and help of our neighbours, friends and extended family, who supported us in our recent sudden and sad loss. We are deeply grateful to Fr Simon Cadam for his care and attention, to the other priests who officiated with him and to the choir. Our thanks to the GAA, both county and local, especially the members of St Rynagh's and Faughs Hurling Clubs. Our thanks to Drs Denise, John and Daragh O'Hare who cared for Billy so well. We thank all who called to our home, sent Mass Cards, sympathy letters, telephoned and those who travelled long distances to be with us. We gratefully acknowledge the contributions of those who gave so generously to Offaly Hospice. We were overwhelmed by the tributes paid to Billy by his friends at the graveside. We thank Eugene Flynn, the undertaker for his professional help. We thank the Guard of Honour on both days. The support of all who helped during and after this time will always be remembered with deep gratitude and appreciation. Holy Mass has been offered for your intentions.
