O'FARRELL (John Dillon) (Galway and Dun Laoighre) (formerly Strokestown Co. Roscommon) - John Dillon's brother Michael and the O' Farrell family, wish to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all who sympathised with us on the sad loss of a beloved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and grand-uncle. Our heartfelt thanks to all our friends and family and to those who called to the house, attended the removal, funeral Mass and burial in Strokestown cemetery; to those who sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy, enrolments and floral tributes and to those who travelled long distances to be with us. A special thanks to Fr. Enda Glynn P.P. (New Quay) for his beautiful Mass; to Fr. Reynolds P.P. and Fr. McLoughlin O.P. and Fr. Seán Mc Hugh (UCHG); and to Sonny Molloy and Patricia Lillis, who sang so beautifully for the Liturgy. We remember and appreciate in a special way the wonderful nurses, staff, carers and John's friends at Pointe Boise Nursing Home, Salthill; his G.P. Dr. Dan Murphy and the doctors, nurses and staff at UCHG who attended John Dillon in his last hours. Thanks to O'Flaherty Funeral Directors and to McHugh Funeral Directors (Strokes- town) and to the gravediggers. We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of thanks for all your kindness and support. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all your intentions. Month's Mind Mass, Saturday April 30 at 12 Noon in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Strokestown and Sunday May 1 at 12 Noon in St. Mary's, Claddagh, Galway.
