McGIRL (Rose) (Raheny, Dublin and formerly Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim) - On her First Anniversary the family of the late Rose McGirl would like to thank everyone who sympathised with us on the sad loss of our dear mother. Sincere thanks to our friends and great neighbours for your wonderful support and kindness. Thanks also to those who attended the removal and funeral Mass, especially those of you who travelled long distances, sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy and floral tributes. Our heartfelt appreciation and thanks to Dr Daniel O'Connell who provided outstanding medical care to Rose for over 40 years. We wish to acknowledge and thank Dr Ciaran Donegan and his wonderful team in Beaumont Hospital for the great care they gave Rose. Thanks to the nursing staff in St Luke's Hospital. Our deepest gratitude to all the medical staff and to Fr Ronan in St Francis Hospice, Raheny. Thanks also to our cousin Liam McGirl, Undertaker who ensured that the funeral arrangements were carried out with sensitivity and professionalism. Our sincere thanks to the family of the late Bishop of Kilmore, Dr Francis McKiernan and to Fr Tom Mannion who concelebrated her funeral Mass. Thanks also to Gerarda Burns and the Drumshanbo Choir for their beautiful singing and music during the removal and funeral Mass. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. Rose's First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated in St Mary's Church, Aughnasheelin on Sunday, June 11 at 10 o'clock
