O'REILLY, Jackie (Newcastle, Galway and formerly Cork City) - August 20, 2009 (peacefully), after a brief illness in the excellent care of the staff of St. Anne's ward University Hospital, Galway; sadly missed by his wife and best pal Anne for fifty years, sons Oliver and Séamus, daughter Sibéal, grandchildren Carmel-Anne, Claire, Seán, James, Anna, William and John, daughter-in-law Mary, son-in-law Jim, brothers-in-law Colm Powell and Fr. Oliver Powell, sister-in-law Eileen Fahy, relatives and friends. Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue today (Friday) from 5 p.m. with removal at 6.30 p.m. to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road. Funeral after 11 o'clock Mass tomorrow (Saturday) to Rahoon cemetery. Donations in memory of Jackie to Cancer Care West, Seamus Quirke Road, Newcastle, Galway. Family flowers only.
