MOLLOY P.G. Lt. Col. (retd.), Rathbawn Drive, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, died December 20, 2007 - Pat's wife Geraldine, their children Darina, Cillian, Ronan and Muireann and the extended family would like to thank most sincerely everyone who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement. Our gratitude goes to those who travelled long distances, called to our home, telephoned, attended Pat's wake, removal, funeral Mass and burial, sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy, enrolments and floral tributes. We are immensely grateful to all who cared for Pat throughout his illness, especially his GP. Dr. Richard Tobin and staff, Mr. T.E.D. McDermott, Charlemont Clinic, Dublin, Dr. Frank Sullivan and the Radiotherapy team at the Galway Clinic, Dr. Cyril Rooney, and the wonderful caring and dedicated staff of B Block, Oncology and Palliative Care at Mayo General Hospital - our very own centre of excellence. Thanks also to Fiona, Carmen, hospital chaplains Fr. John Murray and Fr. John McCormack, and to John O'Donnell and his pharmacy staff. Our heartfelt thanks to Fr. Micheál MacGréil and his concelebrants, Fr. Michael Farragher, Fr Atty Devine and Army Chaplains Fr. Ger Dowd, Custume Barracks, Athlone and Fr. John Mahon, Renmore Barracks, Galway, for the beautiful funeral Mass and homily, to the altar servers, and to Caroline Cresham and Anne Marie Jennings for the music and singing. We will forever appreciate the kindness and loyalty shown by Brig Gen. padraig O'Callaghan G.O.C. 4 Western Brigade, Custume Barracks, Athlone and by all of Pat's Army colleagues and friends, both serving and retired, who escorted him to his final resting place and rendered the military honours. We thank them for sharing with us loving memories of pat's 41 years of Army service. Thanks to Coady Funeral Directors for their professionalism and attention to detail, the gravediggers, and to management and staff of the Traveller's Friend Hotel. As it be impossible to thank everybody personally, please accept this acknowledgement of our sincere thanks to all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the Intentions of alI. Month's Mind Mass will be offered in the Church of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar this Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 10.30 a.m.
