We would like to thank family, friends and our neighbours who helped with comforting words and gracious deeds. We thank all those who travelled long distances and those who sent Mass Cards and donations to the Patient Comfort Fund at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Dingle. A special note of thanks to Monsignor Pádraig Ó Fíannachta who celebrated his funeral Mass with Canon Jackie Mc Kenna, Fr. Tom Hickey, Fr. Bernard Healy and Fr. Jim Sheehy. We wish to thank An Taoiseach and Finbarr's friends in Fianna Fáil for their kindness and empathy. We deeply appreciated the help given by the organist Alice O'Sullivan and the wonderful choir of St. Mary's Church, Dingle. Thanks also to Michelle and Pádraig Ó Sé who provided wonderful music to soothe his way home. We offer sincere thanks to the doctors and staff of the Bons Secours Hospitals in Tralee and Cork and the Mercy Hospital, Cork for their kind care of Finbarr. Special thanks to Dr. Jim O'Regan and Dr. Louis Keary and our long time friends Mr. Michael and Mrs. Ita Murphy who helped to while away his long evenings in hospital. We also would like to extend our gratitude to his medical colleagues in Dingle. Thanks to Dónal O'Connor for his kindness and professionalism. As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
