STRINGER Robert De Courcey (Leabeg House, Newcastle, Co. Wicklow). On the Anniversary of his tragic death in Zanzibar, his parents Keith & Josephine and brothers Peter and Graham would like to express our sincere thanks to all of those who sympathised with us in our sad loss and have continuously supported us throughout the year. We would like to thank our extended family, neighbours, friends, and especially Robert's marvellous friends and colleagues. We would also like to thank those who called to our house, travelled long distances, telephoned, sent cards, letters, floral tributes, and those who attended the removal, funeral and memorial service. Your kindness and continued support has helped us in a way which words can but fail to convey. Our grateful thanks also for the support and assistance of Fr. L. Belton, Rev. W. Bennett, Fr. J. O'Callaghan Glenstall, The Irish Embassy in Dar es Salaam, The Department of Foreign Affairs, Camara, the GardaĆ, Colliers Undertakers, Mike Bartlett, and everyone who has helped us through this difficult time. We ask that this message be accepted as an expression of our appreciation of your great kindness and thoughtfulness and apologise for being unable to contact everyone individually."To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children... to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better... to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded."
