KEANE Maurice Ignatius (Late of Currow, Co. Kerry, Dublin and Portarlington, Co. Laois) (passed away peacefully, at home on October 5, 2010) - The family of the late Moss extend their heartfelt thanks to his many loyal and loving friends from Currow, St Brendan's Killarney, Pallaskenry UCC, his sporting colleagues, in particular Lansdowne F.C., his Munster, Ireland and Lions team mates, his golfing victims and fellow members of Portarlington Golf and Bridge Club. Thank you Fr Tom Dooley PP, Fr Michael Noonan, Fr Tom O'Byrne, Msgr. John Byrne, Fr Michael O'Dochartaigh, Fr Denis O'Mahoney and Fr John Walshe for officiating at the Services. We also remember with kindness Prof. John Reynolds and Dr. Ken O'Byrne and staff at St James' Hospital, the staff of St Luke's Hospital and Leix and officiated Hospice Care, Dr. Sumi Dunne and the Dunne and Keane families for their loving care. Thanks also to Mossie's great colleagues in the Dept. of Agriculture and Food and the Lions Club; to all who continued to send Mass Cards, condolences and words of wisdom and comfort, a million thanks. Your good wishes and your continued prayers are a real help in our grief. Finally, thank you to our wonderful friends and neighbours, Maher Funeral Undertakers, the choirs, the GardaĆ, Snap Printing, Supervalu Portarlington, the Golf Club and the Heritage Hotel, Killenard, for facilitating a beautiful funeral. Mass will be offered for all your intentions. Memorial Mass for Mossie will be held on Tuesday, December 21 at 6 o'clock in St Michael's Church, Portarlington.
