CASEY, William C. M.D. ("Billy") - Born December 30, 1930 in Dublin, Ireland, and passed peacefully, March 26, 2009, at home in Annandale, VA surrounded by his family. Much beloved husband of Elizabeth ("Betty"). Loving and wise father of John (Laurie), Ann Marie (Tom) Haynes, Liz (Barry) Messner, Catherine (Toby Cook), Alison (Jeff) Atkinson, William (Kelly) and Jim (Amy), cherished grandfather of Nicole, Erin and Ashley Messner, Lucy, Billy and Casey Atkinson, Abbe, Shannon and Jimmy Casey and Anna, Lydia, Liam and Ava Casey. Also survived by his sisters Helen, Joan, Teresa and Ruth, brothers Frank, Jimmy and Joe, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, March 31 at 1 p.m. at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Road, Fairfax, VA. Interment at Fairfax Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to Capital Hospice who provided care and peace to him and the family.
