O'HIGGINS, Cathal, (Churchtown, Dublin) - August 18, 2011, (suddenly) at home. Beloved husband of Vera, and the late Peg and loving father of Brenda (Cowhey), brother of Liam and Sadie and the late Brendan, Kathleen, Eileen and Maura. Sadly missed by his family, son-in-law Kieran, grandchildren, Fiona and Neil, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, family, neighbours and friends, especially those in the ESB, An Óige, HF Walking Club, M.I.S.T. and St. Vincent de Paul Society. Reposing today (Saturday) in Fanagans Funeral Home Dundrum from 2.30pm prior to his Removal to the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown arriving at 5.15. o'clock Funeral on Monday after 10 o'c Mass to Dean's Grange Cemetery.

O'HIGGINS, Cathal (Churchtown, Dublin 14) - On the first anniversary (August 18th) of Cathal's death, his wife Vera and daughter Brenda would like to thank those who offered us sympathy, support and friendship in our sudden, sad loss. Sincere thanks to all those who attended Cathal's funeral, sent Mass Cards and letters. We are so grateful for the wonderful support of family and friends over the past year and hope that this Acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
