McKIERNAN (née McIntyre) (Main Street, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan) - June 18, 2008, peacefully, at home, Rose, beloved wife of the late John and loving mother of Bernadette (O'Neill) (Edenderry) and son Sean (Terenure); sadly missed by her sister Anna (Eakins) (Dublin) and brother Paddy McIntyre (Dundalk), grandchildren Siobhán, Jacqueline, Shane, Eoin, Brian, Anna, James, Eimear and Conor and her much loved great- granddaughter Rebecca, daughter-in- law Kathleen, nephews, nieces, wonderful neighbours, carers and friends. Reposing at her home. Removal to Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt this (Thursday) evening to arrive at 7 o'clock Funeral Mass on Friday at 11 o'clock Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Palliative Care Team."May her gentle soul rest in peace".
