SCHULMAN, David, (peacefully) - January, 18, 2011, after a long and courageous fight against declining health and a broken heart. Adoring husband of the late Anne, David leaves behind his daughter Lynda, son Paul, nephews and nieces and many Mensa friends around the world. He was a distinguished, erudite, intelligent, adventurous and humourous man; a peace maker whose council and wisdom quietly helped many people. He was a volunteer at Dublin Zoo, Irish Heart Foundation and the library for the Blind. Funeral services are at 1 o'clock at Dolphins Barn, at home 2.30pm - 6pm, 7.30pm - 9pm. No flowers, thank you. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched.

A wonderful man, David will be greatly missed

I first met David around 1980 and from that initial meeting it was clear what a gentleman he was and how he made everyone feel welcome & included at any size of meeting or gathering. An all too rare talent.

His company was always entertaining and he will never be forgotten by anyone who met him.

Sincere condolences to the family on this very sad loss.
