GRIFFIN (née Russell), Wendy (Donard, Co. Wicklow) - September 15, 2009, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the care of St. James Hospital. Beloved and loving wife to Paddy; ever treasured mother to Paul, Rachel, Sarah and Rebecca, son-in-law Colm and daughter-in-law Emma; sadly missed by her brother Denis, half sister Kirsten, and her close knit and adored extended family; much loved Granny to Sorcha, Cameron, Rose, Ben, David, Kyle, Abi and Ruth; deeply felt loss to her brother-in-law sisters-in-law, niece, nephews, friends and all who knew her. The family would like to give their sincerest thanks to the doctors, nurses, kitchen staff and cleaners of St. James Hospital, who treated and cared for Wendy in every way. May she rest in peace. Removal from her residence today (Thursday) at 7 p.m. to arrive at the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Donard. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Friday) at 11 a.m. Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.
