O'BRIEN Pádraig (Gurtussa, Dundrum, Co. Tipperary) - On the first anniversary of Pádraig's death, Brid, John F. and Claire and Josie and Bernadette wish to express heartfelt gratitude to all who comforted us. We shall be forever grateful to our family, relatives, neighbours, friends and colleagues who suspended their affairs to devote their time and energy to the search, consoling us in our grief and providing meals. We thank all who travelled to attend the funeral, sent flowers and had Masses offered for all of us. Thanks also to the organisations who sent expressions of sympathy and formed the guard of honour. We thank Fr. Jim Egan P.P. and the priests who came to concelebrate requiem Mass and also our friends who provided the beautiful music and hymns. We are very grateful to our neighbours who attended to Pádraig's resting place in Annacarty. Thanks to Michael White & Family, Funeral Directors and to Garda John Ivers for their sensitivity and efficiency. We have derived solace and strength from the knowledge that we live in a caring community and have supportive relatives, friends and workmates. We can never adequately thank you. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
