MAYER James (Eric), aged 86, (peacefully), - May 12, 2010, at Parkhill Nursing Home in Stalybridge, England, after a short illness. Eric was born October 14, 1923 and trained as a journalist on the Dublin Evening Mail before working on the Irish Times. In the early 1960s he moved to London to become a minister of religion, serving in churches across the UK and Ireland and also at the Christian Renewal Centre in Rostrevor, County Down. He is survived by his wife Mabel and sons Nigel and Stephen and their families. Eric's sister, Sheila and her family live in Dublin. A life of blessing, faith and devotion, for which we are all grateful. Funeral to take place today (Friday) May 21st, in Stalybridge (near Manchester), England.
