GARVEY (Rose Cottage, Baltray, Drogheda, Co. Louth) (First Anniversary, May 5, 2010) - The family and friends of the late Philomena (Phil) Garvey wish to thank all who sympathised with them on the sudden but peaceful death of dear Phil at Cottage Hospital. Special thanks to the staff of the Cottage Hospital, to Dr Michael O'Brien, Dr Eugene Kearney and Rev Fr Murphy, Termonfeckin; to dear June, Phil's kind carer; to all who attended the funeral home, the removal, funeral Mass and burial; to all who travelled and sent floral tributes, Mass Cards and messages of sympathy. A special thanks to the President, Past Presidents, and members of the I.L.G.U. who formed a Guard of Honour; to the President and Past Presidents, Lady Captain and Past Captains of the Co. Louth Golf Club; to the Captains of the Dundalk G.C., Seapoint G.C., Laytown/Bettystown G.C. and Portrush G.C.; to the management and staff of Clery's, Dublin. Thanks also to Townley Funeral Directors for their care and attention to Phil's funeral arrangements. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere thanks. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.Rest in peace, dear Phil.
