O'DONNELL (Cork and Dublin) - November 17, 2010 (unexpectedly) at home, Woodview Douglas. Aonghus, dearly loved husband of Miriam (née) McGeer, loving father of Aoife, Cian, Niamh, Neassa and Roisín, beloved son of Kevin and the late Eithne, much loved brother of Ciaran, Maghnus, Caoimhghin and Fiachra; sadly missed by his loving wife, family, parents-in-law Sean and Terry, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, relatives and friends. Reception prayers at 7pm on this (Thursday) evening in St. Patrick's Church, Rochestown. Requiem Mass at 12 noon on tomorrow (Friday) followed by cremation at The Island Crematorium. No flowers please, donations to Toys for Tubs, St. Vincent de Paul.'Life lived to the full.'

<p>Aonghus o'Donnell</p> <p>I was one of his early trainees and had a long association with him past 15 years. I was shocked to hear the demise of this great surgeon, teacher and above all, a great human being. May his soul rest in peace.</p>
