O'CONNELL, Fergus Nicholas (Maj. General - Ret.), of Lakelands Road, Stillorgan, Co. Dublin - January 16, 2011 in the excellent and tender care of the staff of The Beacon Hospital, Sandyford, Co. Dublin; beloved husband of the late Maureen, and brother of the late Mairead and Caithlin. Deeply regretted by his brothers Pearse and Risteard, sisters Deirdre, Siobhan and Fionnuala, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives, army comrades and a wide circle of friends and neighbours. Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) evening from Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Main Street, Dundrum, to St Laurence O'Toole Church, Kilmacud, arriving at 5 o'clock Funeral on Thursday after 10 o'c Mass to Mount Jerome Crematorium.
