A Most Remarkable Uncle

The Canadian kin remember Michael with much fondness. He was infinitely hospitable, erudite, unfailingly enthusiastic and very kind. When traversing Europe a warm welcome and a comfortable bed could always be expected at 29 Quai du Mont Blanc. He and Fiona will always be remembered with great affection. Truly this is the end of an era.

Andrew McCallum
