O'CALLAGHAN (Michael) (Donegal and Geneva, Switzerland) - February 14, 2010, Michael, late of the International Labour Office, husband of the late Fiona (nee O'Doherty), died peacefully at the age of 88, claiming to be "the luckiest and happiest man in the world"; deeply regretted by his sons Michael (Laragh, Co. Wicklow), Joseph (Dublin) and Bryan (Fribourg, Switzerland), sister-in-law Brighid O'Doherty, brother-in-law David O'Doherty, sister-in-law Dr. Roisin McAllum, friend Jaqueline Besson, and by his numerous other relatives and friends around the world. The body will repose at the Saint-Georges funeral home in Geneva until Thursday night. At his request, the memorial ceremony and funeral will be held in private. Famous last words:
"Keep your lights on,
as mine seem to be fading".
