GLEESON Ray

GLEESON Ray (late of Porthaw Glen, Co Donegal) - As Ray's first anniversary approaches, his wife Mary and his children Jennifer, Paul, Ruth and Eoghan, would like to thank everyone who was so kind during Ray's illness. We would also like to thank those who attended the funeral, especially those who travelled long distances and those who sent Mass Cards, flowers and letters. We extend our gratitude to all our friends and neighbours and to Rays past pupils and fellow teachers for their visits during his illness. A special word of thanks for the exceptional care and attention which Ray received from Dr Seimi O Domhnaill, nurses Shirley and Louise and from the Letterkenny Hospice. Also our heartfelt thanks to Madeline Guerin and all her team in the Nursing Unit Buncrana. Our sincere thanks to Fr. John Walsh for making the Funeral Mass so meaningful and to Una Ni Bhriain, Paul Hannigan and Joeleen Mc Laughlin for the music which was truly uplifting. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. Rays anniversary Mass will take place in the oratory, Buncrana at 10 am next Friday, August 26, 2011.
