MAHER - The family of the late Rt. Rev. Monsignor Richard (Dick) Maher, Pastor Emeritus, Navan Road, Dublin wish to thank all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad loss. Those who attended at the residence, the removal, and the funeral Mass; those who sent Mass cards and letters of sympathy and those who made donations to the Irish Hospice Foundation. Special thanks to Archbishop Diarmuid Martin who was Chief Celebrant at the funeral Mass; to Bishop Fiachra O'Ceallaigh who received the remains and Bishop Eamonn Walsh and the many priests of the diocese who attended. A special thanks also to the consultants and staff of the Cardiac and Respiratory Medicine Units, Mater Private Hospital, Dr. Maurice Brennan and staff of the Phoenix Medical Centre, and Dr. Patrick Brophy, Navan Road. And last but by no means least, his devoted housekeeper Agnes, the priests of the parish, the parish community, the teachers, boys and girls of the local schools and colleges, parish groups and Garda Siochana. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, the family hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of their deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
