Gone too soon!!

I was saddened when I learnt of Prof O'Callaghan passing. He was a smart and compassionate psychiatrist. His demise is a huge loss to psychiatry and research in Ireland and the world over. He was inspirational during my residency in psychiatry and he will be sorely missed. He indeed touched many lives ina positive way. Adieu Prof O'Callaghan.

Lajide Richard Lawoyin

Beyond words
The loss of Professor O'Callaghan is beyond words. My heartfelt sympathy to his beloved family. Irish psychiatry will mourn his passing, so too those suffering serious mental illness for whom he tirelessly advocated. It has been a privilege to have been mentored by him. May he Rest In Peace.
