CORKERY (Charleville and late of Macroom) - March 25, 2009, peacefully, in the tender care of the Sisters and staff of Nazareth House, Mallow, Canon Seamus, predeceased by his mother Mary, father Dan Corkery (O/C 7th Batallion number 1 Cork Brigade, Old IRA, Macroom), his sister Joan, brother Tadgh and nephew Donal. Deeply regretted by Bishop John Magee, Archbishop Clifford and the Priests of the Diocese of Cloyne, the people of the parishes in which he served, Ballyindangan, Inniscarra, Castlelyons, Mallow, Aghina, Cloyne and Charleville, his nieces and nephews Father Donal McIlraith SSC, Mary Steele, Maire Ni Corcora, Michael O'Corcora, Ann McIlraith, Tagdh Colm O'Corcora, grandnieces, grandnephews, their families, relatives and friends. R.I.P. Lying in repose at his residence from 4 p.m. on Monday until removal to the Parish Church at 8 p.m. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 Noon. Funeral afterwards to Church Grounds."Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam".
