McALEESE Desmond (Prof. Emeritus UCD), October 31, 2007 - on this the First Anniversary of Desmond's passing his wife Sheila and family Terence, Juliet and Fiona and all his extended family would like to thank most sincerely all those who attended his removal and funeral Mass, especially those who travelled long distances and all his former colleagues in UCD. A special word of thanks to the priests of St Therese Church, Mt. Merrion and to the wonderful staff in the Blackrock Hospice and St. Vincent's University hospital, especially Dr. Charles Gallagher and also his G.P. Dr. Donal McCafferty. Thanks also to Fr. Micháel McCraith, O.F.M., Monsignor McMahon, Fr Noel Barber SJ, Fr. Gavigan and Fr. Peter McEntire, C.S.Sp. for a wonderful funeral Mass. Thanks to the musicians for the spiritual and uplifting music lead by Fionnuala Gill and Charles Pearson and to all our wonderful neighbours and friends. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all your intentions.
