Always remembered

When Dr. Davin-Power delivered me back in 1951 and my mother saw I had black hair (both she and my father were blond) she said 'That's not mine' and he replied 'Well, there was no one else here only me and I certainly didn't have it!' My black hair fell out after a few weeks but he became a family legend never to be forgotten. She often spoke of him with great affection and said he was the best doctor she ever had.

Siobain Broomfield (nee Boyle)
