BERKENHEIER (Ernie) - We, the family in various parts of the world of Ernst Dieter, wish to express our most a sincere gratitude to everyone for showing us such great kindness on our very sad loss; to friends who made long journeys to be with us; to all our many young friends and friends N.D.; to all our neighbours in Ballyroan who were there to support us, so wonderful to see so many of you; to friends abroad who sent such caring letters; to members of the Airchords Showband and associates from R.T.E.; to Ban Garda Kathleen O'Sullivan for her quiet and competent manner; to the staff of Harvey Nursing Home for their patience and understanding; to our flautist Donal Mooney for his fine renditions; to Polly for her extraordinary secretarial skills; to the Air Corps for their Guard of Honour, so totally unexpected and overwhelming; to ex-Air Corps for their turn-out, wonderful to see old friends; to the exceptional community of Mountshannon, Co. Clare who, together with Fr Jones, made the Celebration of Life Ceremony at the oak tree and on Holy Island such a joyous and memorable occasion; to James Hughes & Son Funeral Directors for the extremely personal and caring manner with which they attended to everything, down to the smallest request; to Fr Rúairi O'Domhnaill, Naas, to Fr Joseph Kennedy, Mount Jerome, to Fr Eamon McNerney, Ballyroan, to Fr John Jones, Mountshannon, Co. Clare for their warm and genuine Services. Our earnest thanks to you all.Go raibh dóchas siocháin agus grá gach uaile lá.
