BREEN, Lena

BREEN, Lena (Jo) (née Dolan) (Dublin and formerly of Maote, Co. Westmeath), passed on peacefully on October 18, 2008, in the tender and gentle care of the medical and nursing staff of St Mary's Hospital, Dublin. In her 99th year, she was the relict of Louis and was predeceased by her daughter Emer (Vancouver, B.C.), mother of Dara (Cuero, Texas), Niamh (Naas), Lua (Donegal) and Eunan (Austin, Texas). A mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, her passing is deeply regretted by her family, relatives and wide circle of friends. At her request her funeral has already taken place to Glasnevin Cemetery.Ór Dó Jo.
