O'BRIEN (May) (née McGovern) (Milltown) (May 4, 1922 - September 6, 2005) - The family of the late May would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. Our heartfelt thanks to our relatives, friends, neighbours, work colleagues and all who attended the removal, the funeral Mass and burial, as well as those who sent Mass Cards and floral tributes, we would like to acknowledge the support of those who were able to call to see May in hospital during her brief illness; she and the family much appreciated it. A special word of thanks to the doctors, nurses, ancillary staff and the chaplains of St Vincent's Private Hospital for the wonderful care and attention May received. We shall be grateful always. Our thanks to Fr Michael Fitzgerald who officiated at the removal and to Fr John Murphy for his lovely funeral Mass. We must also thank Margaret Hill who so kindly led the prayers at the funeral home. Our thanks also to Fanagans Funeral Directors for their excellent care and attention. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all your intentions. Month's Mind Mass will be at 6.30 o'clock on Saturday, October 15, 2005, in the Church of The Miraculous Medal, Bird Avenue, Clonskeagh.
