Old Friend gone to his Heavenly Reward.

I am so sad after reading of Fr. Paddy's death. He was a great friend to me and members of the Fermanagh Association in London back in the mid sixties. We had some great times with him when he was Chaplain in the Irish Centre, Camden Town.

Although I had lost touch with him when I returned to Enniskillen in 1970, I never forgot his kindness.

May he Rest in Peace. Des Ward.

Go in Peace, Paddy

Since our schooldays together in the 50s right to 2010, what I always saw in Paddy was a man who never allowed formalities hide his true self. As he often said up to the end, he was always grateful for every day he found himself above ground and we are all grateful for having known him as a friend who was an inspiration by his simple and genuine humanity and good humour even in the midst of the most serious health problems. May you rest in Peace, Paddy.

Michael Greene
