DURKAN (née O'Keeffe) (Cooleen, Ballymoneen, Enniscrone, Co. Sligo) - September 8, 2010 (peacefully) at Sligo General Hospital. Ita, beloved wife of Joe and loving mother of Clodagh, Ronan, Sinéad, Denise and Joe and nana of Oisín; deeply regretted by her loving family, sister Carmel (Fitzgibbon, Listowel), brother William (Portumna), son-in-law Liam, brothers- in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace. Requiem Mass this (Saturday) morning at 11 o'c in St. Joseph's Church, Castleconnor, with burial afterwards in Kilanley Cemetery, Castleconnor. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Irish Cancer Society c/o McGowans funeral directors. House private please.
